stage i: exploring (1976-1986)

 

i. before reform and opening (1976-1984)

name: yangfang commune comprehensive factory of qingxu county

overview: the comprehensive factory produced and traded in articles for people’s daily life, meat, egg, poultry and milk and so on. only one workshop took up vinegar production, there were more than 20 employees for vinegar production, and it could produce table vinegar of 500t every year.

sales mode: finished vinegar was mainly sold locally through supply and marketing cooperative for daily eating of the people, and it was the traditional “sale in local market” characterized by marketing own products.

social background: at the age of collective economy and planned economy, the state executed reform and opening in 1978, inland provinces were open fairly later. up to 1983, shanxi province (or even qingxu county) preliminarily introduced the opening ideas, reform had not developed maturely.

highlight: in 1983, wu runwei who was only 28 years old at that time was appointed to act as the factory director, one new era was opened…

important history turning point: in 1984, the small individual workshop-one independent company was founded (turned to external sales)

background for turning: transition stage of transforming from planned economy to market economy.

with gradual generalization of ideas of reform and opening, the traditional individual workshop mode became updated gradually. operation of the comprehensive factory was bad, only the workshop of vinegar production passed many examinations and developed and became stronger gradually. in 1984, the workshop was independent, and yangfang vinegar factory of qingxu county was founded.  

up to that time, transformation from the development mode of collective small individual workshop characterized by marketing its own products to the operation mode of independent company for external sales of bottled products was realized, mature vinegar and old mature vinegar started to appear in the market gradually.

 

ii. initial stage of reform and opening (1984-1986) 

name: yangfang vinegar factory of qingxu county 

overview: table vinegar was produced with traditional brewing technology of shanxi old mature vinegar. the technology focused on absorbing prime of traditional production technology and exploring new production technology. unique flavor and taste of shuita vinegar began to win favor from consumers. there were more than 100 workers for vinegar production, and it could produce table vinegar of 1000t every year.

sales mode: it started production of bottled vinegar, and started to make sales to other places gradually and appeared in the market initially.

social background: at the initial stage of reform and opening, shanxi province just started reform and opening, ideas were fairly conservative, and the speed to accept new things and new ideas was fairly slower.

highlight: trademark registration of “shuita brand” trademark was completed on 30th january, 1985.
